Socialoomph allows you to automate you social media posts on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
3. Multiple Accounts
You can manage up to 5 Twitter accounts on the free version.
4. Ease of Use
It’s intuitive to use – it’s easy to add your post/tweet and the link. The system shorten links and flags if your tweet is over 140 characters. Then you can choose what to do with your post/tweet:
- Save this update text as a draft that can be reused later.
- Don’t schedule, just add this update to my queue reservoir(s).
- Publish right now
- Publish the update a specific number of time units from now.
- Publish the update at an exact date and time.
- Recurringly publish the update at a specific frequency
If you opt to choose a specific time, the date/time setting is super easy – a little scroll along bar (rather than fiddly drop down time slots like SproutSocial and Hootsuite.
5. Find Friends
You can set up the system to find new friends on Twitter by getting it to search for relevant keyword phrases.
You can control the types of friends it suggests: for example you can exclude those you don’t want to be friends with – perhaps those who haven’t bothered to update their profile picture, or those who seem to be following 1000s of others, but only have 10s of followers themselves. And there are lots more options.
6. Upgrades
By paying $17.97 every 2 weeks, you get upgraded to the professional version which has just about anything you could think of!
For example there is a function which allows you to send automated Direct Messages to all new followers – a great way to get your message in front of a new audience, and particularly useful now that DMs are no longer restricted to 140 characters.
And Socialoomph handily collates your new followers in to an “Approve New Followers Console” – where you can easily approve (or not) if you wish to follow back.
